Our client requested us to draw for them a caricature as a gift for their boss. They would like to have the portrait to be drawn as follows: The background to be Singapore F1 night racing track with city skyline as background and since their corporate color is blue thus they would like to have him wear a blue racing suit standing inside a blue racing car with their company name “HORIBA” to be shown on the car.

Amidst the busy day of drawing and painting in our studio, Cartoon.SG made time for an event held by Dynamic Tour. We were given the opportunity to make the event much more worthwhile by drawing LIVE caricature of the guests during the mentioned event. Held at Marina Bay Sands, we were greeted by “Rock” clad costume waiters and waitresses, which made the event even more lively.

This is a gift for a colleague who is leaving a major manufacturer of electronic devices in Singapore. The team design ventilation devices to assist in breathing and ironically, the ventialtion specialist who is an expert in the human breathing system is a heavy smoker. They all requested to have their well wishes written in comic style. We added in the yellow box for smoking and the yellow CWO (Corrective Work Order) jacket for laughs. They liked it very much.

Hi,

We spoke about caricature this morning for my boss. His name is Anthony Johnson and we called him “AJ”.AJ will be leaving for Melbourne next Wednesday, 7 July.  So, we would like to give him this caricature on Tuesday, 6 July when we have our farewell lunch with him. We intend to have his photo with a crown on his head and the wordings should show “AJ  The King of Analytics”. We would like to have it on A3 size.

We drew him as a mighty king sitting on a pile of statistic reports, spreadsheets and various charts. And added his favourite colour (lime green) as the background.

Upon receiving the caricature, Azlinda dropped us a kind note. "Hi Kamal, a big thank you to you. My colleagues love it. It’s really a well done. GOOD JOB - Azlinda!"
